Day 1 – Tuesday

You might have heard the lovely adage, “Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels”.

Whoever came up with that needs their taste buds checked.

I reckon pork belly tastes as good as being slim feels.

And apple pie tastes as good as being slim feels.

And scrambled eggs cooked by someone else for breakfast taste as good as being slim feels.

I hereby dedicate this journal to all the things that taste as good as being slim feels.

This morning I went for a bike ride – only about 8km and fairly slow because I haven’t been for a while and didn’t want to be sore for yoga and gymnastics.

I had a banana and yoghurt smoothie for breakfast. And a coffee.

I went to yoga and my instructor, having read my post yesterday, helped me with the handstand preparations.

I had a handful of M&Ms that I had stashed in my bag a few days ago. I had cheese and crackers in the mid-afternoon because I was out buying a car at lunch time.

I made a ham and salad toasted sandwich for dinner because I couldn’t be bothered cooking. I also ate a whole bunch of cheese while I was making my sandwich, as I am wont to do.

Tonight I went to gymnastics and worked on my forward rolls, tuck jumps on the balance beam, climbed the silks a bit and did some strength and agility work on the asymmetric bars.

Then I had toast and tea.
